US Hotel Project: LED Holographic Display Facade Application

Recently, we partnered with a well-known hotel in the United States, where the client selected a LED Holographic Display for the building’s exterior facade as part of a visual upgrade. Compared to traditional LED displays, LED Holographic Displays are particularly suitable for high-brightness outdoor environments and can serve multiple purposes, including advertising, brand promotion, and information display.

The core advantage of the LED Holographic Display lies in its 60%–90% high transparency:

  • Maintains transparency while displaying content

  • Does not block the building’s structural view

  • Preserves natural lighting without creating a heavy or oppressive feel

  • Dynamic content blends seamlessly with the facade, creating strong visual impact

By integrating the display without altering the building’s design, the hotel successfully enhanced the exterior’s tech-savvy and modern appearance, attracting significant attention from visitors and passersby.

Key Differences Between LED Grille Screens and Transparent LED Screens

FeatureLED Grille ScreenTransparent LED Screen
LED densityLower pixel density, larger spacingHigher pixel density, smaller spacing
Installation environmentMainly outdoor, large-scaleMainly indoor, close-range display
Protection levelHigh (IP65 for outdoor use)Lower (mainly indoor use)
TechnologyLED strip/hollowed-out LED bulbsHigh-transparency LCD or nano-display technology
ApplicationsAdvertising, stadiums, building facades, glass wallsShowrooms, display cabinets, museums, counters

In short, LED grille screens are a type of transparent LED display optimized for outdoor visibility, while transparent LED screens often refer to indoor high-resolution display panels for detailed product showcasing.

Core Advantages of  LED Holographic Displays

1. High Transparency Without Obstructing Views

One of the most notable features of LED Holographic Displays (Transparent LED solutions) is their 60%–90% transparency. While content is being displayed, the screen still maintains a high level of see-through effect:

  • Preserves indoor and outdoor lighting and sightlines

  • Window displays remain visible without obstructing merchandise

  • Building interiors can still be seen from the outside

  • Content overlays on real-world objects to create a “floating effect”

This makes them ideal for glass facades, retail windows, hotel exteriors, and exhibition spaces.

2. Lightweight Structure and Flexible Installation

Thanks to their strip-style or holographic design, LED Holographic Displays are lighter than traditional LED panels:

  • Low weight, minimal structural load

  • Quick, modular assembly

  • Supports hanging, glass mounting, freestanding, and frame installation

  • Suitable for projects with strict structural requirements, such as glass curtain walls

This reduces renovation costs and shortens installation timelines in commercial spaces.

3. Energy Efficient with Lower Operating Costs

The open structure of Transparent LED screens allows for reduced power consumption while maintaining brightness:

  • 30%–50% lower energy use compared to traditional LED

  • Improved heat dissipation

  • Easier maintenance

  • Longer lifespan

This makes them ideal for long-term commercial advertising and building media applications.

4. Indoor Installation Can Deliver Outdoor Visibility

Many projects install Transparent LED screens inside glass facades while still displaying content externally:

  • No outdoor construction permits required

  • Protected from weather, extending screen lifespan

  • Safer and easier to maintain

  • Content remains visible from outside

This approach is commonly adopted by shopping centers, hotels, and airports.

Applications of Transparent Displays in New Retail

● Product Showcase and Customer Engagement

In modern retail, Transparent LED Holographic Displays are widely used for:

  • Glass window displays

  • Exhibition hall product presentations

  • Interactive guidance or information systems

Dynamic content is more engaging than static posters or lightboxes, increasing store visibility and driving foot traffic while enhancing the brand’s tech-forward image.

● Larger Display Area and Flexible Content Presentation

Transparent displays can deliver high-definition content without obstructing products or interior spaces, enabling a seamless combination of physical merchandise and digital information for a layered, immersive experience.
